the benefit of cooler underhood temperatures? I'm just trying to find the median here, and then decide which one is for the best. Because although having bare pipes might make the exaust flow, and therefore the turbos, more efficient, the excess heat in the engine bay will sap power at the same time. And while wrapped pipes may cause a slight inefficency with the exhaust gas, it will help keep the engine running cooler. Perhaps I'm looking into it too much, though.
